When it comes to laying out dovetails, accuracy is critical.  A sharp pencil might get you close.  However, you can greatly improve your accuracy by using a dovetail knife designed for scribing lines in tight spaces. The Honey Brook Dovetail Knife does just that.

1. A beautifully hand-turned handle in the domestic or exotic hardwood of your choice

2. My knife blades are custom made by Hock Tools.  The dual bevel blades are expertly crafted from O1 tool steel which takes and holds a superior edge and is exceptionally durable. The Honey Brook Tools and Woodworks maker’s mark is laser-etched on the blade for a clean and elegant look.

3. Traditional hand-mixed shellac followed by shop made wax.
